The journey with Steriltom started in 1995 at the side of Alberto Squeri, when the company decided to dedicate itself exclusively to tomato. A prestigious production, characterized by the high quality of raw material, but also by the uncertainties of a constantly evolving market. This is why it is important to work next to a historic and reliable company like Steriltom and the Squeri family, which knows how to bring our product to the world by promoting the agricultural economy of Piacenza, but which at the same time is well rooted in the territory and attentive to the protection of farmers' work. Our company has grown day by day alongside Steriltom and the Squeri family. In them we found a reliable business partner, a company made up of people who love the land, agricultural work and those who pursue it with sacrifice. Between company and farmers there is a direct, familiar, human relationship. A farm-to-table reality even in human relationships. This is not always the case.

Piacenza is an agricultural and economic reality dedicated to the cultivation of tomatoes. The quality of this product is high and for us growers it is essential that our tomatoes are always at the top, but able to improve every season: better, tastier, more bio, more fragrant. We have the best product on national territory, we invest in research and quality, but all this must be supported by the companies that buy raw material for subsequent processing and transforming. In this, Steriltom helps us, with its land development policy, which enhances our work and our tomatoes. The company works almost exclusively in Piacenza, selecting and collecting tomatoes from local farmers. This means a fresh tomato that does not suffer the stress of transport and comes to processing a few hours after harvesting. A quality assurance for the final consumer, but also for us farmers who can offer a product always on top. A forward-looking policy that bears the name of Piacenza, and therefore also ours, outside Italy.

As a farmer and member of the Piacenza section of the Interprovincial Association of Fruit and Vegetable Producers, I am happy to collaborate with Steriltom. Squeri family represents an important part of the agricultural history of Piacenza, which Ainpo looks on as an economic and cultural reference point. Thanks to the collaboration between Ainpo and Steriltom, over the years we have been able to lay the foundation for constant growth in terms of quality and productivity that is bringing concrete results. Piacenza is the cradle of tomato production and Steriltom is a leader in tomato processing, a perfect combination.
